Antony Blinken came to Salzburg Global as a Fellow in 1986, for a session on American Politics and the Foreign Policy Process. At the time, Blinken was not yet involved in politics, since he had worked as a journalism intern for a year and had gone back to school to study law. Since then, he has had a successful career at the State Department of the United States and now serves as Secretary of State for President Joe Biden.
